One owner, new in 2006 The BK Kombination Kooker provides a chef the opportunity to grill with direct heat or smoke with indirect heat. The cooking chamber has a separate fire box with an adjustable air intake to control the cooking temperature for smoking. A water jacket is located above the firebox that forms steam to keep meat moist. The BK provides the "S" pattern of smoke by positioning the cleanout shovel in the middle of the grill. Direct heat can be used for grilling steaks or burgers. The BK is very versatile for competition or commercial cooking. A cook can smoke on one side and grill on the other, smoke on both sides, or smoke on one side and use the other portion to keep your meat warm for serving. The BK has two 32" x 36" cooking chambers, is 12' long, 5' tall, 4' wide, and has 12" tires. Our rotisserie smokers provide a smoking chamber with excellent smoke pattern flow and even, consistent heat. The trays rotate through the cooking chamber at one rotation per minute. The thermometer is placed for easy reading. The unit is fabricated from twelve to fourteen gage metal, 9 gage-expanded metal is used for trays, work tables and oven grates. The firebox grate is 6 gage-expandable metal. There are two hot air chambers in the firebox. A baffle placed in the smoking chamber directs heat evenly around all four sides and catches the meat drippings, which flow into a drainpipe. A 110-volt gear motor equipped with a brake powers the rotisserie. There is a water jacket just above the firebox. The water jacket creates steam dispersed into the cooking chamber to keep you meat moist throughout. The oven is excellent for cooking potatoes, beans and corn. The top can be used as a warming surface. The Bonanza has a smoking chamber 30”x34”x40” and contains four trays, the trays are 10”x37” for a total tray surface of 1,480 square inches. Each tray will hold approximately four briskets or three 15 pound turkeys. The firebox holds split wood up to 16” in length. The weight of the unit is 700 pounds. I had it built in 2006 and finally got it in 2007. It has tandem 3500 lb axles with brakes. It has a 2" Bulldog hitch and a Bulldog hand jack. The pit is made from new 1/4" steel all around. There is a 64 1/2" cook chamber. The two horizontal cook chambers have three removable shelves,, and the vertical cooking chamber has four removable shelves but has an extra place for a fifth shelf. It has sausage hangers in the vertical chamber. It is equipped with 1/4 tuning plates. The firebox is 30"x30"x30". There is a 2" brass ballcock cleanout drain. It has 8" chrome 360* adjustable stacks with dampers. There is a wood/charcoal storage box on the right side of the pit. There is a cabinet built for a sink that needs to be installed still. I have the sink. It has polished aluminum diamond plate fenders, table top, and work box. It is plumbed for LP gas and has a quick disconnect on the left side for hooking up a turkey fryer. There is LP gas plumbing back to the firebox for a log lighter but I had it removed. It is cook and road ready. The pit needs new paint and four thermometers. It also needs chrome wheels and tires.
